I emphasized that 7th chords are found in all styles of music and that if you want to play any kind of Pop, Blues, Rock (Classic or otherwise), Soul/R&B, Country, Jazz etc. then you need to know 7th chords. I named - off the top of my head - various artists/bands in multiple genres who use 7th chords: Doobies, Hendrix, Cream, Incubus, Jack Johnson, Smokey Robinson, Otis Redding, the Beatles etc.

I played you a 3-and-a-half minute video clip from the first lesson in the series wherein I taught you 5 types of 7th chords in 3 positions - 15 chord shapes in all.

I let you know that there was a video coming wherein I would teach you some specific songs from the artists/bands named above that used some of the 7th chords I showed you in the 3-and-a-half minute clip in the current video.

I talked about a common reaction; the feeling of being overwhelmed by the amount of material contained in this product. I encouraged you to not look at the big picture (you don't really know what the big picture is); the way I teach and present material is very linear - step-by-step-by-step - and you just look at one thing at a time in order. You could stop at any time and still have received massive value. For instance, you could take the 3-minute video clip I gave you for free - 5 types of 7th chords in 3 positions - and do nothing else; not look at any more of the videos coming - never buy anything from me - and yet you have already received massive value; you could study that clip and work on those chords for months and have vocabulary you didn't have before, which you can apply to whatever kind of music you want to play.
